How to Showcase a Smartphone in a Skill Competition
Brands & Partners · Équipe Viatous · 7 min
A smartphone is an immediately recognisable product that is easy to present and often rich in technical features. In a Viatous skill competition, showcasing it effectively depends both on the quality of the product presentation and on the experience built around it.
Clearly present the model
The first step is to identify the product precisely: model, storage capacity, colour, main specifications and distinctive features.
The competition page should allow participants to quickly understand what is being offered and what makes the featured smartphone different.
Highlight the features that matter
Battery life, camera quality, display, performance, storage or specific features can help explain the product's value and appeal.
A clear presentation avoids overwhelming participants with secondary information and focuses attention on the most useful features.
Use strong product visuals
Clean and accurate visuals help participants understand the product. They can show the smartphone from different angles, its design, finishes or characteristic uses.
The competition page presents information including the product visuals, brand, characteristics and stated value.
An experience that goes beyond the product
On Viatous, the smartphone is not simply displayed on a traditional product page. It becomes the product featured in a skill-based competition.
Each entry gives access to a three-stage challenge: tapping the displayed bubbles, tracing the requested path, and then answering a general knowledge question.
Paid or free entries
Some competitions are available from €0.50 per paid entry. Each competition also offers a free entry with no purchase and no account creation required.
The free entry follows the same challenge format and the same ranking criteria as a paid entry.
Ranking remains based on performance
The time used to complete the course and answer the question is added together to determine a total time.
Only entries that complete the challenge and answer correctly within the applicable time limits are ranked. Among them, the entry with the best total time wins the product, subject to the checks provided for in the competition rules.
The role of the partner brand
Competitions are created, controlled and administered by Viatous. The partner brand contributes to product availability and handles product handover according to the applicable method.
The smartphone may be provided by the partner brand or acquired by Viatous under the agreement concluded with it.
A familiar product in a different experience
A smartphone combines several qualities that make it suitable for a competition: it is easy to identify, simple to present and has features that participants can quickly understand.
The product attracts attention; the challenge, correct answer and total time then determine the ranking.
