Viatous offers a new way to discover products from partner brands through skill-based competitions in which each entry gives access to a timed challenge.
The principle
Each competition features an identified product offered with a partner brand. Depending on the competition, you can purchase a paid entry, with some competitions available from €0.50, or use the free entry option available without making a purchase.
Each entry gives access to a challenge made up of several stages: tapping the bubbles displayed on the screen, tracing the requested path, and then answering a general knowledge question.
A ranking based on performance
The result does not depend on a random draw. The time used to complete the course and answer the question is added together to determine a total time.
Only entries that complete the challenge and answer correctly within the applicable time limits are ranked. Among them, the entry with the best total time wins the product, subject to the checks provided for in the competition rules.
Products offered with partner brands
Viatous competitions are created and administered by Viatous around products offered with partner brands. Participants do not list their own goods and do not organise competitions themselves.
Each competition page presents information including the product, its characteristics, its announced value, the price of a paid entry and any specific conditions that apply.
Paid or free entry
Each competition also offers a free entry with no purchase and no account creation required. It follows the same challenge format and the same ranking criteria as a paid entry and can also win the product.
A different way to discover products
Viatous combines product discovery, general knowledge, skill and speed within the same experience. The performance of each entry determines its position in the ranking.
If you win the competition, you do not have to pay the remaining value of the product in order to receive it. Viatous then assists you with the verification and product handover steps applicable to the competition.
