Yes. Each participation is a distinct attempt, with its own timed question. Taking several participations gives you as many attempts to post the fastest correct answer.

Yes. Every campaign offers a free participation route, with no purchase, giving the same chance of winning the item as a paid participation (one entry per person and per campaign).

What happens when a campaign closes?

When the campaign closes, a single winner is designated among valid participations: the one who gave the fastest correct answer to the campaign's question. No chance — a public, verifiable designation.

And if I don't win? Do I lose everything?

Not necessarily. On each campaign, up to 10% of non-winning participants — the fastest to answer correctly after the winner — receive the equivalent of 2x their participation amount in credits, paid in two phases. If your participation is not retained for redistribution, it remains consumed.

What decides the winner?

Viatous is not a lottery: the winner is designated by skill. With each participation, a timed question is asked. The winner of the campaign is the participant who gave the correct answer the fastest (time measured server-side); in case of a tie, the earliest participation wins. Zero draw, zero chance.

How do I know the designation isn't rigged?

At closure, the answers and their times are frozen by a public cryptographic fingerprint. Anyone can recompute the winner from the recorded answers and times: the fastest correct answer always wins. Viatous has no control over the result.

How does the winner receive the item?

Accepted Answer

After being selected, the winner completes KYC if needed, provides their address, then the seller chooses the handover mode: in-person with OTP, an authorized carrier with a delivery code, or a legal transfer if the nature of the item requires it. For legal transfers, administrative fees remain the winner's responsibility.

What happens if the seller does not deliver?

Reminders are sent to the seller, then moderation may intervene. If the issue is not resolved, the campaign is cancelled automatically and participations are refunded in credits. As the winner, you are therefore guaranteed to receive either the item or the full refund of your participations in credits: an automatic safety net closes the situation if the seller stays inactive despite reminders and the justification window.
